About the Journal
The philosophical journal Edukacja Etyczna was created primarily to enable a free and factual exchange of views and experiences on what kind of ethics we need in the modern world.
We would like our website to be open to anyone for whom ethical issues seem important and who sees the need for discussion on issues such as: the nature of ethics, the moral identity of modern man, the ethics of research in the humanities and specific sciences, medical ethics, bioethics, ethics as a subject taught at universities and schools, ethics in everyday life [we would like to address such issues as: racism, chauvinism, discrimination, xenophobia, tolerance, etc.], theories of values in Poland, Europe and the world.
We would like our magazine - also with the help of our readers - to contribute to improving the quality of education in the field of ethics.
From the 6th to the 12th issue, the journal was co-published by the Jagiellonian University - Collegium Medicum, Faculty of Health Sciences.
Starting from issue 13 (2017), the journal was published by the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the Pedagogical University of KEN in Krakow.
Since 2022, the journal has been affiliated with the newly established Institute of Journalism and International Relations of the Pedagogical University of KEN in Krakow.
The publishing house of the Pedagogical University is responsible for the typesetting and proofreading of the journal.
The content contained in "Edukacja Etyczna" is published only in electronic form via the website www.edukacjaetyczna.pl, which is the reference version of the journal.
In the years 2011-2017 the magazine was semi-annual. Starting from 2018, the journal is published as an annual.
